Burp Suite is an application security testing software developed by PortSwigger. it is widely used by pen-testers and application security analysts today. Burp Suite is used to intercept both HTTP and HTTPS requests for analysis either for a good or bad purpose. If you want to carry out effective traffic or request interception on an HTTPS request you will need to install a CA certificate. Follow the steps below:
- Configure your Proxy server to intercept this request from your browser http://burpsuite
2. Download the Certificate on your system and navigate to the certificate settings on your browser. e.g Firefox. Import the CA Certificate and install it. Once it is installed you will see the certificate from the Authorities section.
